Kim-Maree Cherry, a Benalla resident who works in Wangaratta, attended the group’s first meeting in February, and said it had changed her attitude to breast reconstruction. “I was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2014, and had a bilateral mastectomy, hysterectomy, chemotherapy and radiation,”she said.“I had found it hard to find information about breast reconstruction, this group and the information it provided made a real difference..
